Pressure at the outlet port of the pump.

Calculating: Discharge pressure is a function of the system and must be calculated or measured. Measurements can be made at the gauge port on the outlet side of the pump or at a point on the outlet pipe as close as possible to the pump.

What is discharge pressure?

Discharge pressure is the amount of pressure measured at the outlet port of a pump. This can also be known as outlet pressure or discharge head. Common units of measure include pounds per spare inch (PSI) or bar.
