Design Features
The DuraLobe® series of bi-wing rotor
pumps are offered in both sanitary / hygienic and industrial models.
The bi-wing rotor form minimizes slip, allowing relatively high pressures,
and also provides large voids for handling soft solids such as cherry pie
filling.
Industrial models provide NPT, flanged or rectangular port options for
use on chemicals, resins and coatings, water treatment polymers, personal
care products and any application that requires the ability to completely
clean the pump.
Front loading seals allow easy cleaning and maintenance. Sealing
options include single and double mechanical seals, mechanical seals with quench, and
single O-ring
and double O-ring seals. The O-ring seal pumps are particularly easy for strip
cleaning applications, but require reduced operating speeds, as shown in
the specification table below.
The sanitary / hygienic models offer a variety of port options,
including sanitary clamp, ACME threads and rectangular ports. The
fully swept pumping chamber is suitable for Clean-In-Place or strip
cleaning. They meet 3A standards for milk and milk products, and are
EHEDG certified for in-place cleanability of food processing equipment.
