Fenton Challgren Promoted to President of IDEX (CFP)

Cedar Falls, Iowa, June 5, 2012 - IDEX Corporation recently announced the promotion of Fenton Challgren to President of Chemical, Food & Process (CFP) which includes three Business Units, Viking Pump, Wright Flow Technologies, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa and Richter Chemie, located in Kempen Germany.
Mr. Challgren has been with IDEX Corporation for 6 years and has demonstrated superior leadership and achieved outstanding results and growth. His most recent role has been General Manager of Viking Pump which recently celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2011.
Additionally, Viking Pump announced the appointment of Kerry Baskins to the position of Vice President of Sales. In this role, Mr. Baskins will be responsible for the worldwide sales for Viking Pump and Wright Flow Technologies products.
Kerry's early career included sales and marketing roles with Viking Pump from 1990-1997. Since that time, Kerry has held titles at Liquid Handling Systems of San Diego, JCI Industries and, most recently as Vice President of Grundfos Pumps. Kerry has a bachelor's degree from Wartburg College and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Kerry's combination of experience and education will be a strong asset to the Viking and Wright Flow team.
