System Integration, Simplified Installation
Viking offers a variety of factory-assembled skid, bracket, or motor-mount options to help simplify installation, alignment, and commissioning. These packages may be as simple as a mounting bracket or as complex as to include special bases, motors, couplings, strainers, or other.
Viking Pump drive options include:
| "B" Bracket-Mounted Drive A bracket is provided as a mounting foot or as additional shaft support. This drive option does not include a motor or driver. |

| "M" Motor Mounted Drive Pump is mounted to a flange faced motor either directly or via a mounting bracket. This type of mounting is ideal for small spaces and assures proper shaft alignment. |

| "D" Direct Drive Similar to an "M" drive, the pump is directly coupled to a standard, variable speed driven, or gear head motor. Direct drive units are mounted on a common baseplate with a coupling and guard. |

| "R" Viking Offset Gear Reducer Drive For units that require a reduced pump speed using a Viking Offset Gear Reducer. Unit includes common baseplate, couplings, and guards. |

| "P" Purchased Gear Reducer Drive For units that require a reduced pump speed using a Viking In-Line Gear Reducer or other vendor's gear reducers. Unit includes common baseplate, couplings, and guards. |

| "V" V-Belt Drive For units that require a reduced pump speed using a V-Belt. Unit includes common baseplate with motor slide rail, sheaves, belt(s), and belt guard. |

| "IM" Inline Vertical Motor Mount Drive Exclusive the the 493 High Speed Compact Pump Series, vertical inline mounts allow for the pump and drive to occupy the smallest footprint. These units require no other mounting other than the piping and assure proper shaft alignment. "IOM" units feature brackets which allow the pump to be removed without disturbing the piping. |
