Ammonia Pumps
Heavy-Duty Pumps for Safe, Efficient Handling of Refrigeration Ammonia

Materials of Construction
  • Cast Iron
Design Features

Designed exclusively to handle ammonia and other low vapor pressure fluids in both refrigeration and transfer applications, these pumps are operated at low speeds to minimize flashing.  They feature double mechanical seals with pressurized seal chamber and oil reservoir to prevent release of gas to atmosphere.  The pressure-lubricated idler bushing provides a constant film of liquid between the idler bushing and pin to maximize bushing life.  An adjustable return-to-tank pressure relief valve is standard equipment.
