Matched Positive Displacement Transfer Pumps with Hydraulic Motors

|
Viking Power Transfer Units (PTUs) are matched positive displacement fluid transfer pumps and hydraulic motors, mounted to a common foot bracket. The positive displacement pumps are available in either external gear or internal gear designs. They are excellent for mobile fluid transfer solutions, or remote, limited space or hazardous locations.

External Gear PTUs
1) Select the pump size based on desired flow and speed, then determine required horsepower based on operating pressure.
2) Refer to the motor selection chart and make a selection based on horsepower, available hydraulic fluid flow rate, and desired speed (RPM).

Internal Gear PTUs
One hydraulic motor (Model FM-0741) is used on Series 75 (lipsealed) and 475 (mechanically sealed) internal gear Power Transfer Units as standard (other motors available). Select pump based on desired flow rate and operating pressure. This will determine the required pressure differential and flow rate for the hydraulic motor.
